Once Upon A Healthy Morning - Wholewheat Pancakes and Bacon with Honey

I try my best to stay healthy. It's difficult because I do LUHVE my food! 
What I do these days is just swap the ingredients of my favourite foods with healthier options. 
I try to go low carb - high protein with a lot of cardio but just sometimes those pesky hunger pangs creep up and I seriously notice that I may have deprived myself of some lacking nutrients. 

This time I felt low on energy, and I was in dire need to tank up my energy levels. 
Instead of white I went brown and used wheat flour, organic honey and bacon stripes for this dish.
Breakfast was truly served! 

You guys should see my celeriac or cauliflower base pizza next...
