Blogging Event | Sleep Well Shop Well Event MCR

 Hi guys:)

Hope everyone's good!

I had the pleasure of attending possibly the best blogger event I have ever been invited to. 2 Friday's ago I headed to Manchester to attend the #sleepwellshopwell / #FRSMeetup event organised by Premier Inn and the lovely ladies at Propellernet. The whole event was hosted by none other than the über stylish Megan Ellaby, y'all know that I'm a bit obsessed with her...

Arriving at the Premier Inn in Manchester, I have to admit I was very impressed with the location and decor. Location wise it could've not been better situated it's practically a stone throw away from Manchester's Piccadilly station and very close to the city centre. It's perfect for those wanting to be located quite close to the bustling NQ scene.

Back to checking in, I was greeted by a lovely receptionist who explained everything in detail. I'm going to be honest here, visiting friends and family who are all equally dotted around the globe I've had my fair share of hotel receptionist encounters and I have to say he was the loveliest of them all! Plus, being the biggest klutz and at times slightly unorganised, I wasn't really surprised that I managed to forget my phone charger BUT the receptionist kindly provided me with a spare. I was so thankful and equally impressed!

My room as just lovely and had this stunning view of the city. I actually just paused and looked at the city from above. Manchester can be so beautiful.
As you can see from the pictures, the room was very spacious and bright. * never has a bed looked so welcoming...

I quickly got changed and headed downstairs to meet up with all the other bloggers. As soon as we assembled we headed to San Carlos's sister restaurant Fumo.

You guys know that I love my words and enjoy the odd good pun but with these pictures it's best to just look at them. I still get the feels when I think of all the food. I can't remember the last time I ate such good food...and I eat a lot, mind you. We had everything from pasta, pizza to succulent beef and much more. a lot more.

I don't know what it is, I'm possibly turning into my parents but I was completely tired after the meal and lusted after that big ole' bed at the hotel. I slept very well that night, like a bebeh!

Possibly still quite full from the night before I couldn't eat much at breakfast the following day. Though, everything you ever wanted for breakfast was available in the in-house restaurant.

I totally forgot to mention that as well as treating us to some fabulous food we were also gifted with a £40 voucher to spend at the Arndale centre. I managed to pick up a beautiful long chiffon blouse from Dorothy Perkins, which you will see in a full outfit post coming soon.  It's an absolute beauty. On the whole I had a lovely time. I'm definitely recommending Premiere Inn to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Manchester as well as in other cities. To find the closest Premier Inn simply head to Premier Inn's website.

A big thanks to Hannah and Megan at Propellernet  for organising such a fabulous event!
