Now, I'm a lipstick kinda girl as you probably know. My Instagram snap story is an homage to my lip of the day + there isn't a day I'm not swatching/showing off the latest addition to my ever expanding lipstick collection. So imagine my delight when these amazing lipstick flattered through my letterbox. Rimmel London's The Only 1 Matte Lipstick* is the stuff you thought you couldn't get in your local drugstore.
I'm obsessed with anything matte, eyeshadow, lipstick...foundation...If it's matte, please direct it my way. Being obsessed with matte is an understatement. To me matte = subtle and elegant. HOWEVER, as much as I love this texture, it's also ridiculously drying. It can be a mission of a lifetime finding that perfect shade and consistency, not too dry but moisturising. Thankfully, Rimmel's got ya! These new lipsticks are not just matte and non-drying but also come in an array of colours. 9 super WOC friendly shades (yes, even the pink shade is a winner trus me')
Because I'm nice, no I'm kidding we all know that this is the part I enjoy the most - I swatched all 9 shades. I do have to say that they applied so wonderfully easy AND to my surprise appeared to be very pigmented. As easy as they are to apply, it's even easier to remove - One light wipe and gone, leaving a subtle moisture to your lips.

My absolute fave is 'Look Who's Talking' (obvs), 'The Matte Factor' & 'Trendsetter'. As much as I am obsessed with Browns at the moment, the nudes in this collection are just divine.
Do have a browse next time you're in your local Boots or Superdrug. They retail at £6.99 and are therefore ridiculously budget friendly - Also, let me know what your fave shade is!
