The 2 Minute Energy Booster



Hi guys, 
I know i know, another new year another set of resolutions how we're going to get healthy. Because I'm eternally lazy when it comes to cooking, love this quick and easy energy booster. 



You'll need
1/2 handfull of spinach 
1/2 handfull of curtly kale 
1/2 of blueberries 
1/2 a lemon
AND
1 drop of honey for taste

Step 1 
Wash everything (spinach, kale and blueberries) and put it into a blender. 

Step 2 
Zest and scoop some of the lemon into the blender. Add a drop of honey.

Step 3
Blend gurl, blend! 

Finished! 

I really started to notice the difference when I didn't have a shot of this green smoothie in the morning. Usually I'm all about coffee and don't want to function without it, but all that caffeine came with headaches and a general energy slump in the afternoon. Not only did I feel a lot perkier, I also suffered less of that terrible morning headache. 
I understand that not everyone has time in the morning to prepare this smoothie ( me neither to be honest, I'm perpetually late) Lean Greens have packed some serious nutritional power into the similar powdered version of the smoothie. It's great for keeping at your desk at work and is easy to prepare, simply add a few 1 teaspoon to a cold glass of water and stir, simple! Even better, it tastes like herbal tea. 

It is a bit pricey but I think of it this way that this actually benefits me from within. If i can spend ££ on foundation I can spend some money on my health.
